Hello everyone,
I’m posting this message in both the Administrative and General message folders to gain as much exposure as possible with my request and information below.
For nearly 2 years now, I've spent much of my own time and money keeping this site up and running. To keep it clean and flowing, a place for everyone to come and share their thoughts and ideas, whatever they may be.
But the mounting cost of the site is starting to take its toll and with this in mind, I am contemplating closing NBMedics.com shortly. I simply can’t afford to keep paying the bills myself.
The only option I have to keep this site open is to ask for your help in the form of donations to help pay the hosting fees associated with NBMedics.com.
The donation button to the left is set up via Paypal and will go directly to keeping the site up and running.
The choice of helping or not is up to you, but rest assured, without your support, this site will be closing in the next short while.
If you truly value the services and opportunities this site offers, please take a moment to support it. You can make the difference between having a place to share ideas and information across the province or not.
Again, sorry to put this on all of you now but the hundreds of dollars I've spent over these couple years is not something I can keep doing alone.
I did not realize that there was a cost associated with running this site. Have you ever considered starting an "NBMedics.com" Facebook group? That way there is no cost and there is also no hiding behind a username when making comments.

Thanks for the input, unfortunately there is a cost to the domain name and hosting, let alone some work done to the program here and there. I have not considered facebook, but it is an option to consider.
I agree this would stop people from using false names but not sure everyeone wants that... or not
I will consider this option, but hopefully with this site being established and all the messages saved and input received, we might be able to keep NBMedics.com going.
